Premise
A lowly hermit crab devises a plan for revenge that ends up changing the entire fate of the beach and his fellow crustaceans.

Characters
Scuttles
A small hermit crab whose shell is quickly falling apart, he is too weak to fight another normal sized hermit crab for a new shell. He lives in an old run down crab shack that no one will go near. He spends his days doing math problems for fun and ignoring the other crabs insults towards his shack.

Bumblers
Normal sized hermit crabs that litter the beach and constantly fight each other for their shells and huts. These crabs are constantly engaging in "claw dueling" (like arm wrestling but with claws) drawing lines in the sand and competing to see who will take their opponents shell.
The Fiddler
He has the biggest, fanciest hut on the shore. Bumblers are constantly challenging him but are always defeated by his one giant claw. As a result he is extremely vain. After every match, he steals the shell of his opponent for fun and throws them on to the open sand unshelled and ready for the birds to eat. Since he is a fiddler crab, his protection comes from his large claw. He has no real need for a shell and just piles them like trophies next to his hut.

The Screecher
A seagull that flies around waiting for an unshelled crab to appear. Shelled crabs blend in with environment and are harder for him to see. Unshelled crabs are bright red and easy to spot.
Setting
The story takes place on the shore of a beach near some rock formations.
The main area will be a small hill where Scuttles and the Fiddler live.
This hill will contain the fancy hut and the shack.
Logline
A lowly hermit crab makes his mark on the beach when a plan to help save his fellow crustaceans from an evil Fiddler crab ends up changing their lives forever.
